EDUCATION OF POKHARA

INTRODUCTION  Amar singh model higher  secondary school 

Was established by central co-ordination Board of Government of India by utilizing the ''post war(first and second world wars) Reconstruction Fund'' on 13 Chaitra 2013 B.S. at present this school has four sections i.e.Higher secondary section, Blind section, English  medium secondary section and Nepali medium secondary  section .Th higher  secondary section , Which is affiliated to Higher  secondary education BOARD OF NEPAL ( HSEB ) ,was opened in 2057 B.S. At present the higher  secondary  section is running Science stream in the day, as Humanities, management and Education steams in the morning.

 Within a short of time, the school has laid a strong academic, as well as a moral foundation in the lives of many young people. This has really enabled them to pursue their future career in the fields which demand a high degree of academic excellence, intelligence and competence. Our+2 graduates are studying medical Science, Engineering chartered accountancy  eat. The academic excellence of this school has been duly recognized by HSEB, Nepal. This school was nominated as a ''MODAL HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL'' of western Development Region in 2061 B.S.This school was awarded ''THE BEST COMMUNITY   HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL''of Western Development Region in 2062 B..2064 B.S.and ''THE BEST COMMUNITY HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL''of Nepal in 2063 B.S.
